Description: Litho is a poetic approach to the workspace. Faithful to his style, Thibault Desombre chose to harmoniously blend materials and forms to create an asymmetrical desk set on slim oak legs. The left-hand section with one drawer is finished in oak veneer, whilst the right-hand section creates an elegant contrast thanks to its satin lacquered finish, in a perfect marriage of colours. Legs are in solid oak, matched to the chest. To the rear, a matt-chromed steel crossbrace brings stability.
The honed shape and slant of the legs gives this desk great elegance. The interior of the drawer is lacquered to match the finish of the right-hand top.
Cost of Desk Litho with whisky Brora 1981 Signatory Vintage 26 Year Old - 3200 euro.
Nose: Distinctively related to Clynelish. The alcohol is strong, but well integrated. It is extremely waxy-paraffin-like. In addition, slightly peaty. The smoke gets stronger over time. Let it stand with the lid on for 30 minutes. Unlike Clynelish, it is much more tropical in terms of fruit. Overripe mangoes, pineapples and bananas. Over time, apricots and peaches too. At first it was quite sherry-heavy, thank God that gets lost under the fruitiness.
Taste: Waxy and salty. Something maritime. Then the fruit sets in. From the back he becomes cuter
Finish: The finish is long, it tingles a bit. Dry oak, salt and minimal campfire smoke are left behind.
