Description: Beau Fixe is the simple assembly of two complementary pieces: a metal frame and a comforter. The frame functions like a pair of pliers whose jaws are formed from the main posts. These pliers then grip a comforter in one sole piece. The pliers subdivide and fold the comforter into rectangular sections to create the armrests, the seat, the back, and the headrests. The collection suggests automobile or airplane seats, but in a lighter and simpler version; the collection is elevated on slender feet; the seat and the high soft backrest are framed by the side headrests, all along its length, and the high armrests envelop the user in a microclimate.
